NYFU (New York FUnctional FUrniture) recently showcased its creative space-saving and transformable furniture, particularly aimed at small space residents.
The company is running the NYC Neighborhood Challenge, offering a chance to win a $20,000 home makeover. However, even without winning, customers can explore a selection of their innovative designs set to launch after the challenge.
Among the designs are:
1. The TriBeCa, a set of three nesting tables that can be compacted to save space.
2. The NY+U Storage Desk, featuring a sliding top with hidden storage, a side bookshelf, and a shelf that also acts as a footrest.
3. The SqueezeBox Ottoman, a clever design that unfolds from a cube into a twin-sized cushion or bed.
4. The Transformer armchair, which seats two when folded and can convert into a double bed, complete with side pockets for storage.
5. The SeatPacking Sofa, a three-seater that rapidly transforms into a double bed.
These designs will be available on NYFU.com, and participants are encouraged to enter the NYC Neighborhood Challenge for a chance to win a room full of this functional furniture.
