This compact system integrates an inverter and batteries, designed for easier and quicker installation, allowing Australian households to manage their energy needs effectively while offering future growth potential.
The introduction of Power Cube comes after SunWiz reported that Fox ESS ranked first in Australia for installed energy storage capacity in the first half of 2026, underscoring its strong market presence. By combining essential components into one streamlined system, Power Cube aims to reduce both installation time and costs. The modular EQ5500 batteries offer different storage capacities, ranging from 10.92 kWh to 49.14 kWh, enabling homeowners to select options tailored to their specific energy requirements.

He emphasized its superior round-trip efficiency, flexibility in capacity options that fit household energy needs, and compatibility with battery rebate tiers. Power Cube includes various features aimed at enhancing everyday performance and convenience:
- Power options range from single-phase models of 5-12 kW (CEC Approved) and upcoming three-phase models from 5-15 kW, supporting up to 200% PV oversizing.
- The compact design and an IP66 rating make it suitable for both indoor and outdoor installations.
- An integrated gateway offers 63A on-grid full-home backup support.
- Built-in battery protection includes inter-cell insulation and an aerosol unit for enhanced safety.
- Integrated heating technology helps maintain battery performance in colder conditions.
- Fox Cloud 2.0 with AI provides real-time monitoring and remote configuration with Wi-Fi, LAN, and Bluetooth connectivity.
