Beelink has introduced a new, more affordable version of the ME Pro NAS, featuring the Intel Pentium Silver J5005, a low-power quad-core processor from the Gemini Lake family. This model supports up to 16GB of DDR4 RAM and is capable of holding four drives in total.
The ME Pro NAS includes two M.2 slots, each accommodating up to a 4TB SSD, while the two SATA slots can handle drives of up to 30TB each, bringing total storage support to 68TB.
This two-bay NAS is part of Beelink’s modular ecosystem, allowing users to swap out the mainboard. So far, the company has released various configurations, including options from both AMD and Intel.
A key feature of this NAS is its compact design. Beelink highlights that the one-piece metal chassis makes it 50% smaller than traditional two-bay HDD systems, enhancing its space efficiency.
The NAS also offers an array of connectivity options, including: 2x USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A, 2x 2.5G LAN, 1x USB 2.0 Type-A, 1x USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C, 1x 3.5mm audio jack, and 1x HDMI.
The barebone version of the ME Pro with the Pentium Silver J5005 is priced at CNY 999, approximately $147. There is also an option available with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage for the operating system, which retails for CNY 1,499, around $221.
