Heather Pardieu has made her 630-square-foot studio apartment in Hollywood a colorful and vibrant space after renting it 14 years ago. She first viewed the apartment while it was still under renovation, confident she could transform it into her ideal home.
Pardieu, cofounder of the interiors firm Foxfeather Design and a fashion stylist, has filled her home with a mix of items sourced from her travels, flea markets, inherited treasures, and some high-end designer pieces. She expresses her love for color, prints, and texture in her decor, stating that her home accurately reflects her style.
Over the years, her interior design has evolved, leading her to focus on restoration and adding modern touches to the apartment. She has introduced vibrant paint and color and has created a notable walk-in closet.
The building, constructed in 1922, originally served as a hotel and has a rumored history of being a brothel. Despite its past, Pardieu enjoys the stories her home tells and continues to embrace small design challenges for added joy.
